2. Support of our Programs
The various programs provided by Discovering the 21st Century are funded 80 percent through donations from our listeners and money from Pilgrimages organized by this institution. We are looking to increase our funding through sponsors who might be interested in helping finance or sponsor our activities and most of all, help our Hispanic community grow stronger in faith and knowledge about their own religion and learn more about our neighbors and friends who think and pray different than us.
7. Who is in charge?
Rev. Father Tomás Del Valle, a Catholic Priest who lives and works at Holy Cross Church in New York City, has organized and set up Discovering the XXI Century. This is a non-profit organization and Father Del Valle is the President of the Board of Directors and the Chairman is the Pastor of Holy Cross Church.
An all-volunteer staff of five and the Board of Directors implement the organization. The staff consists of five founding members of the Corporation. The Board of Directors consists of well-respected members of the clergy and lay- persons, all connected with Holy Cross Church in New York City, experts in fields related to the objectives of the Association.
